Up for sale, a Warwick RockBass Fortress electric bass guitar in very good condition and in perfect working order. The RockBass Fortress is a re-issue of the Warwick Fortress, which was taken out of production in the late 1990's. There was so much public interest in the Fortress shape like Warwick decided to bring it back as a new member of the wildly successful RockBass line. The Fortress features a swamp ash body, maple neck and a rosewood fingerboard. The 4-string version comes loaded with active MEC Gold P and J-style pickups along with an MEC active 2-band preamp on board. Warwick used black gloss hardware. Professionally setup and strung with 45-100 DR Black Beauty strings, this Warwick has an incredible array of classic sounds, balancing vintage tone and modern sophistication.
The maple neck has a fairly chunky C profile that graduates from a traditional 1 1/2" J width at the nut to a full 2 1/2" width at the end of the fretboard, satisfying a wide range of players. The frets show very little wear and the tuners turn smoothly, holding pitch as they should. All of the electronics work well including the aforementioned active preamp, and the high mass Warwick bridge gives the bass plenty of punch and sustain. Cosmetically, the bass is in very good condition

Please note this instrument is second hand and will have some age related marks, this just adds to the character of the instrument. I will point all these out before a sale
