Upper KS2 Class Teacher – Maternity Cover (Preston Area)

Spencer Clarke Group are working with supportive primary schools in the Preston area who are looking to appoint dedicated teachers for two Upper Key Stage 2 maternity cover positions starting January 2026.

This is an excellent opportunity for enthusiastic teachers with strong experience in KS2 to make a real difference in the classroom.

The roles available:

Year 6 Class Teacher (Full Time)

Full–time maternity coverTeaching Year 6 pupils and preparing them for end of Key Stage 2 SATs and secondary transitionSupporting pupil progress and contributing to a positive learning environmentYear 5/6 Class Teacher (Part Time – 4 Days Per Week)

Maternity cover, 4 days per weekTeaching a mixed Year 5/6 class, planning and delivering engaging lessonsSupporting pupils across both year groups, with a focus on readiness for Year 6 SATsWhat's on offer:

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
