Description

Coba Education is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 4 Class Teacher to cover a maternity leave position in a welcoming and supportive primary school located in Kettering. This full–time supply role includes full class teaching responsibilities, including planning, delivery, and marking.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the national curriculum for Year 4.

Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of pupils.

Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters learning and personal growth.

Work collaboratively with other staff members, including year group colleagues and support staff.

Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and the wider school community.

Take part in school events, meetings, and relevant CPD sessions where required.

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.

Proven experience teaching Key Stage 2, ideally Year 4.

Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and assessment procedures.

Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

Ability to plan, mark, and assess effectively and independently.

A proactive, flexible, and positive approach to supply teaching.
