Covering Day-Day Supply with the opportunity to become permanent.

Job Summary

Aspire People is seeking confident and experienced Unqualified Teacher to work on a supply basis in secondary schools across Hatfield, Welwyn, and surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with at least one year of experience working in UK schools as a Unqualified Teacher or HLTA.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise whole classes during short-term teacher absences

Deliver pre-set lessons and ensure students remain on task

Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies

Report any issues or concerns to the appropriate school staff

Provide brief feedback on student progress and engagement

Maintain a calm and productive classroom environment

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of experience as a Unqualified Teacher or HLTA in UK secondary schools (essential)

Strong classroom management and communication skills

Reliable, punctual, and adaptable to different school environments

A proactive and professional attitude

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred for punctuality and ease of travel between schools
