Location: Corby

Start Date: September 2025

Contract Type: Full-Time | Long-Term | Potential for Permanent Placement

Daily Rate: £100-£160 (based on experience and role responsibilities)

Secondary schools in Corby are welcoming applications from ambitious and passionate individuals for Unqualified Science Teacher roles, starting in September 2025. These full-time, long-term positions are ideal for graduates looking to gain insight into teaching and support students in their science learning journey.

Whether your expertise lies in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or a broader scientific field, this is a fantastic way to begin your career in education-without needing QTS at this stage.

Role Highlights:

Supporting the delivery of engaging science lessons across KS3 and KS4

Explaining scientific concepts in a clear and accessible way

Encouraging curiosity and independent thinking among students

Maintaining a positive and well-managed classroom environment

Assisting with marking, assessment, and student feedback

Taking part in professional development and safeguarding training

Ideal Candidate Profile:

A degree in a science-related subject (e.g. Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Engineering, etc.)

A genuine passion for education and helping young people succeed

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Confidence in leading a classroom with support from the school team

A desire to progress into teacher training (PGCE, SCITT, QTS Apprenticeship)

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
