Your Responsibilities Will Include:

Delivering engaging and well-structured Science lessons to KS3 and KS4 pupils

Supporting the planning and delivery of curriculum content across all science disciplines

Creating a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and learning

Managing behaviour effectively to support a calm and focused setting

Adapting teaching approaches to meet the needs of learners of varying abilities

Contributing to student progress through marking, feedback, and informal assessment

Participating in ongoing training, including safeguarding and subject-specific development

What We're Looking For:

A degree in a Science-related subject (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Environmental Science)

A genuine interest in education and working with young people

Strong communication and classroom presence

Patience, resilience, and the drive to support learners in achieving their best

A willingness to develop professionally and potentially move into teacher training pathways such as PGCE, SCITT, or QTS Apprenticeships

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one
