Training Manager

An excellent opportunity has now arisen for a Training Manager to join our home care team, based from our office in Solihull, on a permanent full time basis.

Homecare For You is a specialist provider of high quality home care services. We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated person, to work alongside our Registered Manager, and provide high quality training and support for our staff caring for the elderly and vulnerable.

Skills, Experience, and Qualifications Required

Minimum of level 3 RQF / NVQ in Health and Social Care, including the safe administration of medication unit (or working towards attainment). Level 3 PTTLS Award in Education and Training. Train the Trainer, or Key Handler, in Moving and Handling.

Experience in delivering group training sessions, with good presentation and delivery skills. Experience in delivering mandatory training (full care certificate) courses including, Moving and Handling, Safeguarding, Dementia Awareness, First aid, Medication Management.

Requirements:

To be a driver (with your own transport and able travel, as required)

You must have good communication skills, a passion to promote excellent standards

Good working knowledge of Microsoft software packages, especially excel spread sheets

The ability to work well on your own and as part of a team

To be able to plan, coordinate, and deliver companywide training programmes

To be able to communicate effectively and professionally
