About the Role We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic English Teaching Assistant to support students in a secondary school. This role is ideal for graduates with a strong academic background in English who are considering a career in teaching.
Key Responsibilities Supporting teachers in delivering English lessons across KS3-KS5.
Providing 1:1 and small group support in English Language and Literature.
Assisting students with reading, writing, and comprehension tasks.
Helping to prepare learning resources and classroom materials.
Supporting students with varying learning needs to reach their potential.
Contributing to a positive, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment.
Requirements A BSc in English or equivalent degree (English Literature, English Language, or related subject).
Excellent communication and literacy skills.
Ability to engage and motivate secondary school students.
Passion for education and supporting young people.
Previous school or tutoring experience is desirable but not essential.
Benefits Competitive pay rate: GBP90-GBP110 per day.
