Are you a recent graduate with a passion for education and a desire to gain hands-on classroom experience before embarking on a teaching career? Teaching Personnel is proud to be working with an outstanding primary school in Gorton that is seeking a motivated, enthusiastic, and committed individual to join their team from September.

This is a full-time role (8:30am–3:30pm) supporting a Year 4 class, ideal for anyone considering a future in teaching or child development. You’ll work closely with experienced educators to assist in delivering both core and foundation subjects, gaining practical insight into classroom dynamics and pupil progress.

A recent graduate eager to gain school-based experience.

Relevant experience working with children (e.g. tutoring, mentoring, volunteering, youth work, coaching, childcare).

A genuine enthusiasm for education and a commitment to supporting children’s development.

Someone who is proactive, dependable, and confident working both independently and as part of a team.

What You'll Be Doing:

Supporting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management.

Working with small groups and individual pupils to reinforce learning and build confidence.

Assisting with the preparation of resources and classroom displays.

Supporting pupils with a range of needs, including SEN and EAL.

Helping to create a calm, focused, and positive learning environment.
