Description

Be a Classroom Hero! Join Our Fun & Friendly Primary School in Southampton

Do you love the energy of the classroom, the joy of working with children, and the chance to make a real difference every day? Whether you've worked in schools before or have experience supporting children in other settings, we want to hear from you!

We’re on the lookout for enthusiastic full-time and part-time Teaching Assistants to join a vibrant, welcoming primary school in Southampton — where learning is exciting, creativity is encouraged, and no two days are ever the same!

About the Role:

This is your chance to be part of a school where fun, laughter, and learning go hand-in-hand. You’ll be working across Early Years, Key Stage 1, or Key Stage 2, helping pupils to grow in confidence, spark their imaginations, and enjoy every step of their learning journey.

Whether you're supporting in phonics lessons, getting stuck into craft projects, or cheering on during PE — you’ll be a key part of helping children thrive.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Supporting children in class, in small groups, and through 1:1 sessions

Helping pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) feel confident and included

Creating a positive, playful, and supportive classroom atmosphere

Assisting with everything from reading and writing to numeracy and nature walks

Teaming up with teachers and staff to bring out the best in every child

What We’re Looking For:

Experience working with children (in schools, clubs, childcare – we’re open!)

A warm, positive, and can-do attitude

Great communication skills and a love for teamwork

A genuine passion for helping children learn, laugh, and shine!

This isn’t just a job — it’s a chance to be someone’s favourite grown-up at school. If you’re ready to jump into a role where you can make memories, build confidence, and spread positivity, then apply now and join our fantastic school community in Southampton
