Role details:

Teaching Assistant or school-based roles for university students

Location: Southampton

Salary Scale: £82.80 to £100 per day

Start Date: ASAP/ September

What we are looking for:

Graduates or current university student with a desire to explore a career in education

Core subject degrees such as Maths, English, Science, History, Geography, or PE (for aspiring teachers)

Experience working with SEN (in school, care, or voluntary settings) preferred, not essential

Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate effectively with parents and other professionals.

A patient and nurturing approach to working with children.

Ability to adapt and be flexible in a fast-paced and changing environment.

Commitment to ongoing professional development in SEN practices and strategies.

To work with GSL Education as a Teaching Assistant or in school-based roles, you should:

Have the right to work in the UK.

Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.

Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education
