Description
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the classroom teacher with planning and delivering lessons and activities
Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning and support academic progress
Provide support for students with special educational needs or learning differences
Help manage classroom behavior and ensure a positive, respectful atmosphere
Prepare instructional materials and organize classroom resources
Supervise students during non–classroom times, such as lunch, recess, or field trips
Support classroom assessments by helping with observations and record–keeping
Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and school staff to support student development
Follow school policies and procedures, including safeguarding and confidentiality standards
Qualifications and Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent (required); Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field (preferred)
Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is highly desirable
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively with a team and take initiative when needed
Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in student learning and well–being
Familiarity with classroom technology and educational tools is a plus
