Salary Scale: GBP82.80 to GBP100 per day

For this SEN Teaching Assistant role, you will be required to provide day–to–day support, delivering 1:1 and small group sessions as well as helping to plan lessons by preparing resources and materials. You will be required to work alongside the class teacher and SENCO to provide a happy and fun environment for your key child to learn and enjoy attending school.

Key responsibilities of a SEN Teaching Assistant role include:

Working one–to–one or in small groups with pupils with a range of SEN, including ASD, ADHD, speech and language needs, and learning difficultiesSupporting the development of individual education plans (IEPs)Adapting classroom activities and materials to suit individual needsPromoting positive behaviour and emotional well–beingBuilding trusting relationships with pupils, staff, and families What We re Looking For:

Experience working with SEND preferred, not essential (in school, care, or voluntary settings)Calm, adaptable, and empathetic natureGenuine desire to support inclusive educationConfidence in working with pupils with special needsA strong interest in inclusive education and supporting children with additional needs To work with GSL Education as a SEN Teaching Assistant, you should:

Have the right to work in the UK. Have an up–to–date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years. Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education
