We are working closely with a friendly and inclusive Primary School in the Rochester area who are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team from September. This is a fantastic opportunity to become a valued member of staff, supporting pupils in achieving their full potential.

Roles & Responsibilities

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

Support pupils’ learning in both whole-class and small group settings.

Work closely with the class teacher to assist with lesson preparation and classroom organisation.

Provide targeted support to pupils with additional needs, ensuring they are engaged and making progress.

Help to manage behaviour and encourage positive attitudes to learning.

Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for all pupils.

Assist with the assessment of pupils’ work and progress.

Support with activities, school trips, and extra-curricular events as needed.

The ideal Teaching Assistant will have:

A relevant qualification (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3) or proven classroom experience.

Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children.

Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

A flexible, proactive approach to supporting learning.
