Teaching Assistant

Are you passionate about supporting children in their learning and development? Do you thrive in a supportive and vibrant school environment? If so, we want to hear from you!

NextGen Teachers are currently working with a primary school based in South Yorkshire who are looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their committed team. This will be on a supply based contract, with the possibility for long term contracts.

About the Role:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

Support pupils across the curriculum, both in class and through targeted interventions

Work closely with class teachers to plan and deliver engaging learning experiences

Help create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for all pupils

Support the emotional, social, and educational development of children

Assist with the preparation of classroom resources and activities

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

Has previous experience working with children (school or educational setting preferred)

Holds a relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2 or 3 in childcare)

Is a patient, positive, and proactive team player

Has strong communication skills and a flexible, 'can-do' attitude

Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

The right to work in the UK

An enhanced child DBS on the update service
