Pay .89 per day

Tradewind Recruitment is proud to be working in partnership with a small and nurturing Alternative Provision in the Ingleton area, who are looking to appoint a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2025.

This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils who may face challenges in mainstream education and help them re–engage with learning in a supportive and structured setting.

About the Role:

Providing 1:1 and small group support across a range of subjectsSupporting pupils with a variety of social, emotional, and behavioural needsWorking closely with teachers and support staff to deliver personalised learning plansHelping to create a calm, positive classroom environment that promotes progressBuilding strong, trusting relationships with pupils and encouraging personal developmentWhat We're Looking For:

Experience working with children or young people (school or care–based settings welcome)A calm, patient, and resilient natureAbility to work effectively as part of a team and independentlyA genuine passion for supporting vulnerable learnersPrior experience in alternative provision or SEN (desirable but not essential)Why Join Tradewind?
