A vibrant and inclusive 11–18 secondary school in Crawley is looking to appoint a Maths Specialist HLTA – or an experienced Maths Tutor or Learning Support Assistant (LSA) ready to progress into a Higher Level Teaching Assistant role.

In this role, you'll:

Deliver small–group Maths interventions at KS3, KS4 and KS5Support students with SEND and additional learning needsAssist with whole–class cover when requiredContribute to personalised learning plans and academic progressWork closely with the Maths and SEND departmentsSupport team planning and the deployment of learning support staff (LSA)Ideal candidates will have:

HLTA qualification, OR experience as a secondary LSA, cover supervisor, or tutorStrong subject knowledge in MathsExperience delivering numeracy support or Maths catch–up sessionsUnderstanding of different pupil profiles and classroom strategiesA proactive, patient and professional approachMust have a DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain oneReady to make a real impact?
