Academics Ltd is currently recruiting for a proactive and passionate Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive mainstream primary school in the Gloucester area. This is a fantastic chance to make a real impact in a supportive setting, gaining valuable classroom experience along the way.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support pupils across a range of subjects, assist with classroom routines, and help create a positive learning environment. Your role will be essential in promoting both academic progress and emotional wellbeing.
Key Details:

* Mainstream Primary
* Daily Pay: £85-£100 (dependent on experience)
* A valid enhanced DBS is required (or willingness to apply through Academics Ltd)
* Must provide references covering the last two years
* Full-time, term-time only position
Key Responsibilities:
* Support teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
* Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils needing additional help
* Help maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment
* Support pupils with special educational needs (SEN) using tailored strategies
* Assist with preparing resources and general classroom administration
* Encourage positive behaviour and promote social and emotional development
