A high–achieving boys grammar school in High Wycombe is seeking to appoint a talented and enthusiastic Spanish Teacher from September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to join a thriving Modern Foreign Languages Department in a school that values academic rigour, traditional scholarship, and global awareness.

The Role

As a Spanish Teacher, you will:

Teach Spanish across Key Stages 3 to 5, including GCSE and A–Level

Plan and deliver engaging, well–structured lessons that support strong student outcomes

Promote fluency, accuracy, and cultural understanding through varied and dynamic teaching methods

Support students' development in spoken and written Spanish with clear and constructive feedback

Participate in departmental planning and contribute to curriculum development

Engage with extracurricular opportunities, including language clubs, trips, and exchanges

Person Specification

The successful candidate will:

Hold a good honours degree in Spanish or a closely related subject

Possess a recognised teaching qualification (PGCE with QTS or equivalent)

Have experience teaching Spanish at KS3 KS5, ideally in an academically selective environment

Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a clear passion for language teaching

Be an excellent communicator with strong classroom presence and organisational skills

Show commitment to ongoing professional development and the wider life of the school

Be fluent or near–fluent in Spanish, with the ability to model authentic language use
