SEND Teacher needed

Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children and young people with special educational needs? We are currently recruiting qualified Teachers to join a complex SEND school in Barking and Dagenham, supporting pupils with a range of needs across different age groups.

About the School:

A well–established SEND school based in Barking and DagenhamSupporting pupils with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) and Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD)Highly supportive, inclusive, and nurturing environment

This is a Monday to Friday role, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, within a well–resourced and supportive special school environment catering to pupils aged 4 to 19 years.

About the Role:

Teach and support small classes of up to 7–10 pupils. Work with students with a range of complex needs, including:Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD)Other complex learning difficultiesContribute to a nurturing, inclusive, and flexible learning environmentCollaborate closely with a dedicated team of teaching assistants and support staffAble to travel to Barking and Dagenham

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN

A flexible, patient, and empathetic approachStrong behaviour management and communication skillsA commitment to supporting each pupil's individual learning journey
