Simply Education is proud to be working with a specialist SEN (Special Educational Needs) school in Peterborough to recruit a dedicated and resilient SEN Teaching Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting young people with additional needs and making a lasting difference in their lives.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support for students with SEN and additional learning needs

Assist in managing challenging behaviour using a positive and therapeutic approach

Work collaboratively with the class teacher to ensure a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment

Support students in developing essential social skills, emotional regulation, and independence

Implement and monitor personalised learning and behaviour support plans What We're Looking For:

Experience working with children or young people with SEN (in school, care, or support settings)

High levels of patience, resilience, and empathy

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Full-time availability (Monday-Friday, term time only)
