SEN Teaching Assistant – Haringey

Salary: £85 – £110 per day (depending on experience)

Contract: Full-time

GSL Education is looking to appoint a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to support a specialist primary setting in Haringey. This role offers the chance to make a real difference by working closely with pupils who have additional needs such as Autism (ASC), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH).

Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 and group support to children with a range of special educational needs.

Assist teachers in adapting lessons to meet diverse learning requirements.

Promote confidence, independence, and positive social interaction among pupils.

Help implement effective behaviour support strategies with guidance from senior staff.

Candidate Requirements:

Prior experience working with SEN pupils is highly beneficial.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

A caring, patient, and resilient personality.

A clear commitment to safeguarding and child welfare.
