Teaching Personnel are currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join a welcoming and supportive SEN school based in Coventry. The school caters for pupils aged 3 to 16 with a range of needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and other complex learning or developmental needs. Many students will have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) in place, which outlines the tailored support they require.

As a Teaching Assistant, your role will involve:

Providing 1:1 support to pupils who require focused attention and guidance.

Assisting with small group learning, helping children to engage with lessons and activities.

Supporting pupils in developing social, emotional, and communication skills alongside their academic studies.

Working closely with class teachers and other staff to adapt resources and create a positive, inclusive learning environment.

Encouraging independence and celebrating progress, no matter how small.

Applicants who have lived outside the UK for 6 months or more in the last 5 years will be required to present an Overseas Criminal Check (police check)

This position is ideal for individuals who are patient, resilient, and compassionate, with a genuine desire to see every pupil succeed. Prior experience in education or SEN support is beneficial, but full training and guidance will be provided for those with the right attitude and commitment.
