SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Primary School, Lambeth

Start Date: September 2025

Contract: Full-time, Term Time Only

We are looking for a caring, patient and motivated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our inclusive and supportive school community. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children with additional needs.

The Role: As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

Provide one-to-one and small group support for children with a range of special educational needs.

Assist with implementing individual education plans (IEPs) and tailored learning strategies.

Support children’s social, emotional and behavioural development.

Work closely with the class teacher, SENCo and external professionals.

Help create a safe, positive and inclusive classroom environment.About You: We are looking for someone who is:

Experienced in working with children with SEN (desirable but not essential).

Patient, nurturing and passionate about inclusive education.

Able to build positive and trusting relationships with children.

A team player with strong communication skills.
