Your Responsibilities Will Include:

Providing tailored 1:1 support as a SEN Teaching Assistant to a student with additional needs, helping to maintain focus and engagement in lessons

Using adaptive strategies to meet individual needs related to autism and hearing impairment

Working closely with teaching staff, the SENCO, and external agencies to support the student's EHCP outcomes

Encouraging personal development and promoting an inclusive classroom environment

What We're Looking For:

Experience supporting young people with autism and/or hearing impairments

Familiarity with secondary curriculum content and SEN support strategies

A patient, compassionate, and proactive approach to learning support

Ability to commute to and from Erdington starting in September
