Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)?
Tradewind Recruitment are seeking dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to join a welcoming and supportive school in the St Austell area. This is a full-time temporary position with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate(s).
About the Role:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in providing tailored support to pupils with a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties. You will work closely with class teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff to create an inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with SEN
Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
Support pupils in accessing the curriculum and engaging in school life
Help maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environmentThe Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Experience working with children with SEN (in school or similar settings)
A patient, caring and resilient nature
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A genuine passion for making a positive difference
Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE, Level 2/3 TA, or equivalent) - desirable but not essentialWhat We Offer:
