Description

ABC Teachers are recruiting for Teaching Assistants in the Walsall area with prior experience supporting pupils of a primary age with Special Educational Needs to start from September 2025.

This role will include:

Supporting pupils with Special educational needs.

Starting as day-to-day / part-time staff but with the potential for the new academic year to become a permanent member of staff for the right fits.

Working Monday to Friday between the hours of 08:30-15:30.

The school:

ABC Teachers work in partnership with various schools across the Walsall area, all offering a warm environment for supply staff coming into the school.

Requirements

To be considered for the SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

Have had prior experience working effectively with a student with additional needs.

Have a keen passion for building a strong working relationship with pupils and to provide them the best chance of developing.

Be able to commit to full-time work.

Ideally have a teaching assistant qualification, however with the right experience this is not compulsory.

Provide references from your most recent and relevant employment.

Possess or be willing to obtain an up-to-date DBS check registered with the update service.
