Tradewind are currently seeking a qualified and dedicated individual to join a Secondary School in Lancaster, working as a Teaching Assistant supporting a small group of children with additional learning needs. The role is on a full-time basis 5 day a week starting ASAP. The role is working 8.30-3.30 with daily pay rates for this position £89-£99.

As a teaching assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the classroom teacher in creating a positive and stimulating learning environment for all children. You will assist with planning and delivering engaging lessons, providing one-on-one support for children with SEN, managing behaviour and helping to maintain a safe and orderly classroom. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education, as well as a passion for working with children.

To join us and be successful in this role you will need to:

NVQ level 2 qualification

Experience of working with children or in a school setting

Have an understanding of EHCP's

SEN experience would be an advantage.

Experience of working in a relevant classroom environment

Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks

CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
