Location: Kettering (Northamptonshire)

Contract: Permanent or Supply (Full–Time/Part–Time Options Available)

Salary: NJC Grade E Point 4 6, GBP24,404 GBP25,183 FTE (GBP20,332 GBP20,981 actual)

The Role:

Vision for Education is recruiting a dedicated Level 2 SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs across mainstream and specialist settings in Northamptonshire. You ll work closely with class teachers and SEN staff to deliver 1:1 and small–group interventions, promote positive learning behaviours, and help pupils access the curriculum. This role is suited to candidates passionate about inclusive education looking for either long–term employment or flexible supply work.

Requirements:

NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Teaching Assistance or SEND support, or GCSE Grade C/4+ in English & Maths

Proven experience working with children with SEND in UK schools

Strong behaviour–management and communication skills

Ability to support pupils in both academic and social/emotional learning

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
