A warm and inclusive primary school in Hackney is looking for a caring and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2025.

This full-time role focuses on working with children in Early Years and Key Stage 1, supporting their development at a crucial stage in their education.

About the Role:

Providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils with special educational needs, including autism, speech and language delays, and behavioural needs

*

Working closely with the class teacher and SENCo to deliver tailored support plans

*

Encouraging emotional, social, and academic development in the early stages of learning

*

Helping create a positive, nurturing classroom environment in EYFS and KS1

The Ideal Candidate Will:

Have experience working with young children, ideally those with SEN

*

Be calm, patient, and passionate about helping children grow

*

Be confident supporting speech, language and communication development

*

Be reliable, flexible and a great team player
