About Us:

GSL Education are looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant for a dynamic and inclusive Primary school in Manchester committed to providing a supportive and enriching learning environment for all students. Position Overview:

GSL Education are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Teaching Assistant (SEND TA) to join the Schools Current staffing team . The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting students with SEND, working collaboratively with teachers and other professionals to ensure all students have equal access to a high-quality education.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with SEND, assisting them in accessing the curriculum and achieving their learning objectives.

Collaborate with subject teachers to adapt lesson plans and materials to meet the individual needs of students with SEND, ensuring inclusivity and accessibility.

Support students in developing academic skills, as well as social and emotional skills, to promote their overall well-being and independence.

Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and contribute to the monitoring and assessment of student progress.

Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued, respected, and supported in their educational journey.

Qualifications and Skills:

Previous experience working with students with SEND, preferably within a Primary school or educational setting, is desirable.

A relevant qualification in Special Educational Needs or Teaching Assistance is advantageous.

Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting the educational and personal development of students with SEND.

Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people with SEND.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £95.00-£105.00 per day

Day shift

Monday to Friday

No weekends
