Blackpool Temporary to Permanent September Start

Vision for Education are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teacher to join one of our specialist college settings in the Blackpool area. This rewarding role is ideal for a confident teacher with experience working with young people with complex and profound needs, and a desire to lead a supportive, skilled team.

The Role

This is a full–time SEN Teaching post working with learners aged who have a wide range of complex learning difficulties, including profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD). Many of the students are non–verbal, so a working knowledge of signing or Makaton would be highly beneficial.

Strong communication skills, creativity, and patience are essential for this role, alongside a commitment to inclusive education. This is a temporary to permanent vacancy, starting in September 2025.

The School

This vibrant specialist college offers a highly personalised curriculum tailored to meet the individual needs of each student. The college provides a supportive and inclusive environment that focuses on communication, life skills, and independence.

The college was graded Good in their most recent Ofsted inspection, highlighting their commitment to high–quality education and care. As a member of a dedicated team, you ll contribute to a setting that values teamwork, respect, and the development of every learner s potential.

What we offer

As part of our team, you benefit from:

Excellent daily rates paid using the PAYE system. (Daily rate is subject to your scale rate, experience in role and qualifications which will be discussed at the point of registration).

Guaranteed pay scheme (subject to availability).
