SEN Teacher – Stockport – September Start

You’ll teach engaging core subject lessons that encourage growth, independence, and academic success for students with EHCPs across Key Stages 3 to 5.

SEN Teacher Role – Key Details:

Location: Stockport, Greater Manchester

Start date: September

Subjects: Core subjects (English, Maths, Science preferred)

‍ Teaching: Students aged 11–19 (KS3 – KS5)

‍ Personal Tutor for students with EHCPs

Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons

Collaborate closely with support staff and SLT

Full-time, long-term role (with potential for permanent placement)

About You – SEN Teacher Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification

Strong SEN experience, ideally in a specialist setting

Knowledge of EHCPs and adapting lessons to diverse learning needs

Excellent communication, behaviour, and time management skills

Specialism in English, Maths, or Science is desirable

Enhanced DBS registered on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)

Right to work in the UK
