Position: SEN Teacher

Location: Hemlock Stone School, Stapleford, Nottinghamshire, NG9 8GA

Salary: GBP38,000 per annum (not pro rata)

Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only

Hours: 40 hours per week; Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm

Start date: January 2026

As part of our continued growth, we're excited to offer an opportunity for an SEN Teacher to join our close-knit team at Hemlock Stone School, a brand-new specialist setting opening in March 2026, part of Options Autism.

We're looking for someone who is:

Qualified: UK QTS or equivalent, with a relevant degreeExperienced: Strong understanding of SEN, including ASC, learning difficulties, and complex needsCompassionate & Resilient: Able to build trusting relationships with pupils who may have faced significant challengesCollaborative: A clear communicator who thrives in a team environmentCreative & Flexible: You'll need to adapt and innovate to meet individual needsAbout Hemlock Stone School

Opening in March 2026, Hemlock Stone School in Stapleford, Nottinghamshire, will cater for up to 66 pupils, providing a specialist learning environment for young people with Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC) and Complex Needs.

For over 16 years Options Autism have provided care and education to pupils and adults with autism, complex needs and learning difficulties. As part of Outcomes First Group, we are leading our sector in setting and delivering new approaches that provide measurable outcomes for those in our care.

We are really proud to say that in 2024, Outcomes First Group were officially certified as a 'Great Place to Work' for the fifth year running.
