Position: SEN Teaching Assistant (Secondary)

Location: Southwark

About Us:

We are committed to providing exceptional educational experiences for students with special educational needs. Our secondary schools in South East London are vibrant, inclusive, and supportive environments where every student is encouraged to thrive. We are looking for compassionate and motivated SEN Teaching Assistants who are eager to make a difference.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide tailored support to students with SEN in a secondary school setting.

Assist with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).

Support students in accessing the curriculum and participating fully in school life.

Collaborate with teachers and other staff to create an inclusive learning environment.

Monitor and record students progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.

Foster a positive and encouraging atmosphere to promote students social and emotional development.

Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students with SEN.

Relevant qualifications or training in special educational needs is desirable.
