Description

SEN Learning Support Assistants – Bletchley

Start: September 2025 Location: Bletchley Salary: 100– 110 per day Full–Time

TimePlan Education is working in partnership with an SEN specialist school in Bletchley to recruit Experienced SEN Learning Support Assistants to support students with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs.

This is a fantastic opportunity for passionate individuals with professional or personal SEN experience, or those who have worked in PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties) environments. If you're energetic, compassionate, and ready for a meaningful role in education, we want to hear from you.

About the Role:

Start Date: September 2025

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am–4:30pm

Pay: 100– 110 per day (depending on experience)

Contract: Full–time, term–time only

You will work closely with a supportive team to provide 1:1 and small group support, helping students develop both academically and emotionally in a specialist learning environment.

Ideal Candidates Will Have:

Previous SEN or SEMH experience (personal or professional)

A passion for supporting young people with complex needs

A fit and active approach, ready to engage with hands–on learning

Experience in the prison or youth justice sector (highly valued for transferable skills)

A desire to progress into a career in SEN, education, or psychology

Interest in further academic study, such as a PhD in SEN or related field

This role is particularly well suited to individuals looking to gain experience before teacher training or further study, or for those committed to a long–term career supporting SEN learners.
