Description

SEN Learning Support Assistant Primary & Secondary

Location: Brighton and surrounding areas

Contract: Full–time / Part–time (flexible days)

Pay: GBP89.05 GBP110 per day

Hours: School hours (typically 08 30)

We re looking for calm, caring, and dependable individuals to join us as SEN Learning Support Assistants in schools across Brighton and nearby areas. You ll be working closely with pupils who need extra support whether due to autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, or emotional and behavioural challenges.

Every day is different, and your support can have a lasting impact.

What You ll Be Doing

Supporting pupils with special educational needs in the classroom

Working 1:1 or in small groups to help children stay focused and confident

Helping with communication, emotional regulation, and behaviour

Assisting teachers with lessons and creating a calm, inclusive environment

Adapting to different schools and age groups with a positive, flexible approach

What We re Looking For

Experience working with children or young people (in schools, care, youth work, etc.)

A patient and empathetic approach, especially in challenging situations

Flexibility to work across different schools and settings

A genuine desire to help children with SEN reach their potential

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
