This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting high–quality science education across Key Stages 3 and 4. Working closely with the science department, you'll help prepare engaging practical lessons, maintain specialist equipment, and ensure a safe and well–organised learning environment where every student can thrive.

Your Key Responsibilities

Prepare, set up, and clear away equipment and materials for science lessonsSupport teachers in delivering engaging practical experimentsMaintain, clean, and store laboratory equipment safelyMonitor and manage stock levels of chemicals and resourcesEnsure compliance with health and safety regulations and school policiesAssist in the creation of resources and displays for the science department

What We're Looking For

Experience working in a school or laboratory setting (paid or voluntary)A practical and organised approach, with strong attention to detailGood knowledge of science equipment, materials, and safety proceduresExcellent teamwork and communication skillsA proactive attitude and willingness to support learningUnderstanding of safeguarding and commitment to student welfare
