Science Teacher – Cheshire East – Immediate Start

Location: Cheshire East

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: 150 – 210 per day (dependent on experience)

Contract Type: Full–time, long–term

Tradewind Recruitment is currently working with a well–regarded secondary school in Cheshire East to recruit a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to start immediately. This is a full–time, long–term role with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

Whether your specialism is Biology, Chemistry or Physics, this is a fantastic opportunity to inspire young minds and contribute to a department known for delivering engaging and high–quality science education.

The Role:

Delivering dynamic and interactive Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.

Planning and assessing in line with the national curriculum and departmental schemes of work.

Encouraging student curiosity, critical thinking, and a love of scientific enquiry.

Monitoring progress, identifying areas for development, and supporting students to achieve their full potential.

Taking part in departmental meetings, school events, and CPD opportunities.

Ideal Candidate:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

A degree in a science–related subject.

Recent experience teaching Science in a UK secondary school.

Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to motivate and engage students.

A current Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one through Tradewind Recruitment.
