Position: Mini Bus Driver / School Mini Bus Driver

Location: Derbyshire / Leicestershire and Loughborough

Hours: Split shifts 6:00 AM – 8:30 AM & 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM (Monday – Friday) Saturday 6AM 8:30AM & 12–2:30PM (Term Time)

Salary: GBP15.13 per hour

Job Purpose for the successful Mini Bus / School Mini Bus Driver:

We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Minibus Driver to safely transport children to and from school while also providing high–quality care. The role involves ensuring the safety, well–being, and enjoyment of children aged 5–13.

Duties:

Safely operate a 16 seater minibus, transporting children to and from school, adhering to all road safety regulations.Ensure all passengers are seated safely and wearing seatbelts.Conduct pre– and post–journey vehicle checks and report any maintenance issues.Maintain a clean and tidy minibus at all times. Essential Requirements for the successful Mini Bus / School Mini Bus Driver:

Valid UK driving licence with D1 entitlement (minibus category).Clean driving record with no major endorsements.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.A patient, responsible, and caring attitude. Desirable Skills for the successful Mini Bus / School Mini Bus Driver:

Enhanced DBS certificate available on the update service, or willing to apply.Experience working with children.Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection policies.
