Safeguarding and Wellbeing Officer [WC6938]
Pro rata of 26,716.00 - £29,196.00 per annum (ie, £11,611.18 - £12,689.03
18.5 hours (2.5 days) per week, 38 weeks per year (paid 45.2 weeks)
As a Safeguarding and Wellbeing Officer, you will provide support to students with a range of health and wellbeing needs; assist on the delivery of the Mental Health Strategy, arranging events and opportunities in response to the changing local and national wellbeing priorities.
You will also be a member of the Safeguarding Team, which includes being duty officer on a rota basis.
GCSEs, grade 4 or above specifically in English and maths and a L3 qualification in Health & Social Care or equivalent are essential. A Counselling qualification is desirable. You will have experience in providing support to young people with mental health difficulties
