A welcoming and well-regarded primary school in the London Borough of Brent is looking for a Reception Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team from September 2025.

About the Role

Position: Reception Teaching Assistant

Contract: Full-time, long-term

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experienceReception Teaching Assistant Role

Ideally, you'll have prior experience working with young children, a Level 3 qualification, or be a graduate with a strong interest in early years education.

Confidence to work closely with the EYFS Leader, contributing to engaging lessons, purposeful play, and daily routines.Key Responsibilities of a Reception Teaching Assistant

Supporting the planning and delivery of creative, hands-on learning activities.

Helping children make progress across all areas of the EYFS framework.

Assisting with classroom organisation, resource preparation, and displays.

Taking a lead in certain activities or curriculum areas as directed by the EYFS Leader.

Supervising children during play, snack, and transition times.

Observing and recording children's progress to share with teaching staff and parents.

Building strong, positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues to create a nurturing and inclusive environment.Ready to begin a rewarding role this September?
