About the Nursery:

A well–established nursery set in the heart of Newton Mearns is looking for an enthusiastic and nurturing Early Years Practitioner to join their vibrant team. Known for its warm and welcoming environment, this nursery offers a thoughtfully designed space where children are supported to

grow, learn, and thrive through a play–based curriculum that meets their individual needs.

What You ll Be Doing:

As part of a supportive and passionate team, you will:

• Provide high–quality care and education in line with the early years framework.

• Plan engaging, developmentally appropriate activities tailored to each child.

• Observe, monitor, and record children s progress, supporting them to reach key

milestones.

• Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.

• Ensure the learning environment is clean, safe, and stimulating.

What We re Looking For:

• A relevant Early Years qualification (e.g. SVQ Level 3, HNC, or equivalent).

• A genuine passion for early childhood education.

• A warm, caring, and patient personality.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Understanding of safeguarding and health & safety practices.
