Pay Rate: £88.94 – £104.84 per day (depending on experience)

Start Date: Immediate

Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term | Full-time / Part-time

GSL Education are seeking a caring and proactive Primary Teaching Assistant to join schools in Louth. As a Primary TA, this is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are dedicated to helping children develop academically, socially, and emotionally in a nurturing classroom environment.

Responsibilities as a Primary Teaching Assistant:

Support class teachers in the delivery of engaging lessons.

Assist in classroom management and help maintain a positive learning environment.

Provide one-to-one or small group support to children who may require additional help.

Help monitor student progress and support their individual learning needs.

Work with children with special educational needs (SEN) to ensure they reach their full potential.

Support with the planning and preparation of classroom activities.

Requirements for the Primary Teaching Assistant role:

Experience working with children, preferably in a classroom setting.

A positive, patient, and supportive approach to working with young learners.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

A valid enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.

A full, up-to-date CV with clear employment history and explanations for any gaps within the last 10 years.
