Salary Range: £86 - £100 per day (Depending on Experience)

Start Date: September 2025

Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Full-time/Part-time

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated and caring Primary Teaching Assistant to join schools across Rotherham. Starting this September, we offer both flexible day-to-day and long-term opportunities tailored to your availability.

As a Primary TA, your responsibilities will include:

Supporting teachers in delivering engaging lessons.

Assisting pupils with learning and social development.

Helping to maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Providing one-to-one or small group support to pupils with additional needs.

Supporting behaviour management and encouraging positive interactions.

Collaborating with teaching staff and other professionals to meet individual pupil needs.

Skills & Requirements to become a Primary TA:

Previous experience supporting children in an educational setting is preferred.

Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills.

Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions.

An enhanced DBS registered on the update service or willingness to apply.

An up-to-date CV covering the last 10 years with any gaps clearly explained.
