We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to join a supportive SEND team within a primary School, from September 2025.

This primary school is a welcoming schools who firmly believes in putting their children first. They are located by various transport links across the City and have an onsite car park. Your role & responsibilities:

* Support Individual Learning: Provide tailored one-to-one or small group support to pupils with SEND, helping them access the curriculum and reach their learning goals.

* Implement EHCPs and Support Plans: Assist in delivering strategies and interventions outlined in Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) or individual support plans.

* Promote Inclusion and Engagement: Encourage pupil participation in class activities, fostering social interaction, independence, and confidence within a mainstream setting.

* Collaborate with Staff and Professionals: Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and external specialists to monitor progress, share observations, and adapt support as needed.

Non-negotiables:

* Must have recent experience of working within a primary or specialist SEND school

* Must be able to provide a minimum of two references within the past two years

* Must possess good numeracy and literacy skills
