About the Role:

As an Outdoor Learning Support, you’ll assist both in the classroom and outdoors, ensuring a safe, inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with outdoor-based studies.

Support students in practical tasks and help them develop essential life and work skills.

Provide individualised support for students with SEN, ensuring their needs are met.

Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel safe and supported.

Encourage independence and self-confidence in students, promoting their personal growth.

Assist with the delivery of enterprise and employability skills.

Work alongside teaching staff to plan and adapt learning activities to suit the needs of each student.

Requirements:

Experience working with young people Special Educational Needs.

A passion for working outdoors and a keen interest in vocational education.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Patience, empathy, and the ability to build positive, supportive relationships with students.

A proactive attitude and a willingness to take on new challenges.

A flexible, adaptable approach to working in an ever-changing outdoor environment.
