Job Title: Nursery Practitioner

Location: Hove

Salary: GBP90 – GBP100 per day (Depending on experience)

Start Date: September 2025

Contract: Full–time, Long–term

GSL Education are seeking a dynamic Nursery Practitioner to join an innovative early years setting in Hove that's reimagining what early childhood education can be. Here, children learn through exploration, creativity and joyful discovery.

About the Role: Working with children aged 3–5, you'll create an environment where natural curiosity leads to meaningful learning. Using child–led approaches alongside structured activities, you'll help young learners develop independence, resilience and a genuine love of learning.

Key Responsibilities:

Follow children's interests to create engaging, meaningful learning opportunitiesSet up provocations and learning environments that encourage investigation and discoveryDocument learning through photography and observations, creating beautiful learning storiesSupport children's emotional intelligence and self–regulation skillsCollaborate with families as partners in their child's learning journeyUse technology and natural materials to enhance learning experiences Job Requirements:

Early Years qualification (Level 3 preferred) with up–to–date knowledge of EYFSExperience with child–led learning approaches and emergent curriculumStrong understanding of how young children learn and developExcellent documentation and observation skillsCommitment to inclusive practice and supporting all children to thriveHave an updated CV and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one) What We Offer:
