About the Role:

TeacherActive is proud to be working in partnership with a vibrant and inclusive secondary school in South Gloucestershire, known for its supportive ethos and commitment to student success. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team full-time, with an immediate start available. This rewarding role involves working closely with students across Key Stages 3 and 4, providing targeted support to help them reach their full potential. You’ll assist in the classroom, deliver 1:1 and small group interventions, and play a vital role in helping students overcome academic and personal barriers.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Supporting pupils in-class to help them access the curriculum;

delivering focused interventions to small groups or individuals;

assisting students with additional learning, emotional, or behavioural needs;

working alongside teaching staff to maintain a positive learning environment;

helping with lesson preparation and classroom organisation.

We’re Looking for Someone Who:

Has experience working with young people (in school or similar settings

Is patient, empathetic, and confident in supporting students with varying needs

Brings a proactive, flexible approach to their work

Communicates effectively with both students and staff

Is passionate about education and making a real impact every day
