Description

Learning Support Assistants (Full–Time) – Supporting Pupils with Complex Needs

Location: East Kent

Pay Rate: 90 – 95 per day

Are you committed to helping young people overcome challenges and reach their full potential? Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our schools in East Kent, supporting students with a range of complex needs.

The Role:

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:

Offer one–to–one and small group support tailored to EHCP (Education, Health, and Care Plan) objectives.

Build strong, trusting relationships to support each pupil's emotional and academic development.

Help students understand and manage their behaviours.

Work closely with teachers, families, and external agencies to create a consistent and inclusive support network.

Deliver personalised learning plans and assist in daily classroom activities.

Please note: This role may involve personal care duties.

What We're Looking For:

A caring, flexible, and resilient individual with a genuine passion for working with children with additional needs.

Experience in a similar setting (education or care) is advantageous, but not essential.

A full UK driver's licence and access to a vehicle (essential due to location).

Excellent communication skills and a team–focused attitude.

Willingness to provide personal care, including support with feeding and toileting.

Willingness to commute up to an hour to the school

Legal right to work in the UK

Experience with PMLD or SEN is an asset

Enhanced DBS (Child Workforce) on the update service–or willingness to apply
